WO2024144643A1
Rib structure with fishbone imitation enabling shape change in the wing via the method of the rear spar rotation
A wing that changes its shape in flight while adding almost no weight.

How it works
The ribs are shaped like a fish skeleton: a backbone with tapering bones. A motor rotates the rear spar, the rear part of each rib bends with it, and the trailing edge of the wing deforms smoothly. The aircraft can adapt the wing to each phase of flight.
